Crystal specializes in Thai Massage (Nuad Boran). Thai Massage is an ancient whole body healing treatment. It is a unique form of bodywork combining passive yoga stretching, breathing and meditation techniques, energetic (sen) line work, rocking, kneading, compression, accupressure, and reflexology. It has been called "lazy man's yoga" as one gets all the benefits of a yoga class without the effort.
This energy balancing technique is based on presence and breath is a graceful, nurturing, interactive dance.
Crystal attended the Body Therapy Institute School for Massage & Bodywork in the heart of the North Carolina Piedmont. She has also studied Thai Bodywork with Bob Hadaad and Michael Sitzer. Crystal offers a peaceful presence, mindfulness, and unconditional positive regard in all therapy sessions. Each session is catered to the individual's unique needs each day.
